How We Started

Junior Achievement (JA) was introduced to the Cayman Islands by the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Central in 1991. The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce became a strategic partner in 1997 providing a permanent office and offered administrative support which allowed JA to develop and expand its youth programme offering. Junior Achievement of the Cayman Islands is a not-for-profit association and is funded through the generous contributions from the business community and is governed by volunteer Board of Directors comprising representatives appointed by Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Central, The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce and elected associate members.

The Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Central & The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce are proud to be major sponsors of Junior Achievement.
